Take a vibrant city with a temperate climate, an energetic farmers’ market scene and “wine countries” in both nearby Woodinville and Walla Walla over the pass. Add a heaping helping of adventurous, talented chefs who know exactly what to do with the region’s bounty, and you’ve got Seattle: a foodie nirvana with excellent farm-to-table dining options around every corner.

Sweet red chili beef, radish, and scallion salad with a crispy wonton and edamame puree from the last Farm-to-Table tour
Savor Seattle brings this concept to the next level with their farm-to-table dining experiences which include a sit-down with William von Schneidau, owner-operator of BB Ranch Butcher Shop, in the historic Goodwin Library overlooking the be-all-end-all of farmers markets, Pike Place. The private sit-downs are highlighted by a themed five-course menu showcasing the season’s freshest ingredients, sustainable meats and local produce and is paired with three Washington State wines and a whiskey tasting. Hoo-wee!
Each tour is limited to 14 participants and a portion of the proceeds goes to the Pike Place Market Foundation. Experience it for yourself with several dinners scheduled in March.
